Bronco it's been around since 1966, that was the first year that this vehicle was hitting the off-road trails. Ford has done really a good job with the outlook of this vehicle. They have presented the same retro theme of Bronco but in a modern way with unique styling. The proportions and the styling gives the same retro look for which Ford is so good at.

Ford Bronco, this fascinating set of wheels even intrigues the newbs into the vast land of off-roading. Now remember you can get your Bronco two doors or four doors. We will be talking about the four door version with Bronco Outer Banks version trim in this review.

At the front you will be getting a very nice twist of styling with the classic feel. The lights are installed with daytime running lamps, these are LED headlights on Bronco. This uniques stying of taking the lights all the way into the front grill looks very impressive.

There is a little bit of gloss black around the front lights. This gives the front of the car a more appealing and distinctive look. On the Outer Banks version, you will be getting nice and classy steel bumpers. With the steel bumper is the front brush guard. Many people have complained about the brush guard blocking the BRONCO initials written in front. But do not forget the plethora of modifications you can get on Bronco.

The front grill has a forward facing camera. The grill design in itself is indeed very classic and attractive. Dropping down from the front grill, there is a nice meaty tow hooks. This will allow the off-roaders be able to pull those jeep wranglers out of the mud, out of the sand traps. Underneath the tow hooks are large solid steels plates. Yes, they are heavily protective shield, perfect for an off-roading vehicle like Bronco.

Going up onto the hood that classic retro theme, is restored successfully by Ford. The slight bend above the grill at start of hood makes it look more bigger and beastlier. The way it meets with the grille, I like the way they have installed the addition of the two rises at both side ends. You get a nice size bulge at the center of the hood, now this is to serve the purpose of newer and more powerful v-eco boost engine.

With Bronco, you will be having different wheel options as per your requirement and interests. The Outer Bank version have this beautiful machined aluminum this 18 inch wheel, you can get a 17 inch b-lock off-road wheel. This setup is more of street setup but remember you do have the 4x4 as standard across all Bronco trims.

Those Bronco badging looks amazing

Love the classic way that they did the bronco badge for the wheel cups. It looks as an intricate design there, but with the gloss black, the machined aluminum, it is fabulous. Coming to the size of these wheels, these are 255 on width and a nice meaty 70. There is a lot of space between tire and the upper fender though. This gives you a glimpse of all the beautiful suspensions work that they have done. Moreover, on Outer Bank trim they have a nice painted flared fender instead of plastic. The color looks stunning on this one.

Down the side, It has got those really cool side badges, it's almost like a badge of honor. It does let you know exactly what trim you're looking at. The badges mention Outer Bank, Bad Lands, Black Diamond and all those Bronco trims accordingly. Onside mirrors are mounted those 360 degrees cameras. Moreover, a nice specialized Bronco running board for foot assist. Talking of the roof it has options for soft and hard top according to customer's need and likes. The door handles are body colored giving it a nice side line look. The side is kept slightly curved outwards, more flat giving it a strong and solid impression to this off-roader. The tires are protected with fender flares that add on to the aesthetics of this beautifully engineered masterpiece.

Come around the back, is where the Bronco kind of has that signature design. The LED tail lights with the bead inside gives a very special look. This is actually for a do-neon purpose nice touch of course. Then there are the body colored handle to swing open the back. Then we have our rear mounted wheel and tire that's spare, full size of course. There is also a nice looking chrome Bronco badge beside the tail light, looking amazingly beautiful. Dropping down the rear, there is a plastic covering over rear bumper. Also, are present the two hooks giving full towing capacity to the off-roaders.

Under the hood, We get 2.3L and 2.7L as standard engines in every trim. Producing up to 270 and 310 horsepower respectively. One thing to mention is that many people complain of the rod holding hood, whereas people were expecting hydraulics struts for opening and holding the hood. Whatsoever, with the extra bulge comes the extra power. The engine technology is the new eco-boost developed by Ford. This means that this technology involves the use of turbo-charger induction system that is a serious add-on for power. Thus, resulting in twin turbo system. This powerful engine is mated onto 7-speed manual transmission or 10-speed automatic transmission. All this power takes the towing capability up to 3500 pounds.

Adding more features to assist the off-roading, you have solid rear axles, and you get electronic slip differentials. A totally revamped brand new five link rear suspension at the tail on the business to get through just about anything.

Goes over anything

Getting inside the new Bronco, you do have to remember remember everything is removable so that door comes off, removable soft roof also. The soft touch material feels good on the dash. Even they did soft touch on the armrest. Little bit of gun-metal gray on the door handles. Then you have that cargo net that's going to be perfect for those off-road style twinkies. You could easily put some stuff in their. This adds to the practicalities of this vehicle. Going from the door panel to the dash, the design looks much more intriguing. The B-shaped air vents addon to the Bronco specifics. Then there is the Bronco name stamped on the dash, in there with that hard plastic finish. This hard plastic thing, i think it has been done on purpose so it becomes easy to clean the interior as it will be undergoing some extreme off-roading expeditions.

To a jeep wrangler, you are looking at the same setup. you do actually have a power source, a usb and a usb type-c at front top of dash, which is a very nice and smart location.  Moreover, are the toggle switches above central console, these allow for differential controls, traction controls and much more features. You also get 12 inch infotainment system showing all the essential systems. This allows for apple car-play and android auto system to be used. Then, you have the start stop button beside the screen beneath steering wheel. The texture really looks stunning. The material, not a lot of gloss black which is great you have your radio controls, your AC controls, which you have your dual climate which is wonderful. Moving on way down is a nice little cubby, you can literally put a two pound bag of skittles down here. The gear feels stronger and powerful, you feel the energy for off-roading while mating on those gears. Beside the gears is a metallic imprinted VIN number plate, now this is something very unique. The wheel controller joystick allows you to hover about the modes of this beast. You have your GOAT modes, go over anything terrain, any terrain really nice setup, too high,  four high, four low ,you just twist that to go into the modes.

Behind the modes controller stick, you get switch gear for windows. Now this controller is at center because the doors can go off. Thus, window controls are embedded within central location. The leather material of seats is really soft and nice. Bronco badging on seats as well. As mentioned before, this vehicle has lots of badging.

Behind the wheel of this Bronco, you will feel all the power with you. Tons of headroom, the roof can come off even. The seat controls that are very very easy to get to, on the side. The steering wheel looks and feels nice with thick leather wrap with the bronco badge. On the back seat, the leg room is little bit compromised, if front seats are pushed back to full. You have USB ports and a 12-volt pin point. A center armrest is also provided at rear seats. The armrest is small not easy for putting arms but you have cup-holders which provides practicality. You have your back pockets there, can put a couple back scratchers back there.

Looking into the cargo area, The handle at rear allows you to swing it open. The cargo capacity provides a good volume, even with the removable roof on top. You can actually put in a couple of bikes and more luggage in it. Boot lights are present at the left side, together with a 12-volt pin point with it.

The thing about this Bronco series is that there are a lot of variants available for this vehicle. This makes one think that Ford wants you to customize your vehicle. There will also be other companies offering you the customization material. Whatsoever, this is a complete beast and will definitely provide a very stunning off-roading experience. The exterior is perfect with stunning looks. A lot of variety in trim category, technical tweaks with powerful engine and a very strong suspension system. This Bronco series will give a tough competition to the jeep wrangler. Moreover, this Bronco series is built for anyone and for everyone.
