The new GT3 starts from 128,000 pounds in UK and branded as $162,450 in America and States. However, several deals and promos do also offer good discounts and accommodating payment schedule to aid you in buying this masterpiece from Porsche. Now this Porsche 911 GT3 is the only 911 that is not turbocharged. Porsche has done some special upgrades to improve the performance of this vehicle. Enhancing the suspension performance, rear wheel driving assists, with direct fuel injection engine system.

Exterior and Design

Talking of the car's design. It is a heavily modified version over the standard Porsche 911. The most obvious change is a huge rear wing. It has this odd way that it's mounted now. It has been called as a swan neck design. The spoiler braces have been put over top side rather then underneath it. The reason they've done that is because by having the brace for the wing over the top rather than underneath improves airflow. This means that they can produce decent downforce without having to give the wing too much angle of attack. Too much angle of attack does affect your top speed as it causes drag. This design minimizes the drag by this special rear design. That's why this car can do 197 miles an hour. If you don't like this wing, don't worry there will be a touring version of the GT3 available which will just not have a wing like this at all.

Underneath the wing is a little ducktail wing. This ducktail is built into actual body work of the car rather then being an after manufacture attachment. On the downer side of rear screen are numbers to signify the engine capacity. A GT3 badging is attached at the center under rear ducktail. The badging can be removed though. GT3 gets a completely redesigned rear bumper. The bumper does give a beautiful and aggressive look to the car. The curves add on to the classic Porsche signature design. Attached to the rear bumper is the rear diffuser, looks pretty cool and gives an aggressive touch to the car. Although has its technical advantages of playing with the air flow as well. A key characteristic of a GT3 car is that the exhaust pipes are essentially mounted in center together rather then being mounted at sides like on normal 911.

From the side, there aren't many changes over the standard 911. You get the side skirts in black color giving a good sporty color combination. Moreover, are the classic GT3 central locking wheels like you get on a racing car. Yellow calipers in wheels if you opt for ceramic brakes. For different color wheels it will cost you bit extra, similarly if you want carbon fiber side mirrors it will be a little extra on budget. An extra 2500 pounds extra for full carbon fiber roof. But one thing is it that, the carbon fiber roof does adapts this version so beautifully, it looks as a natural piece for it.

At the front, there are some big changes the GT3 gets completely redesigned front bumper. It gets  lower splitter, which improves your airflow and your downforce on car. This in turn, improves its road grip and stability. The radiator can be seen in front. The vents absolutely, lots of vents in front as well as on bonnet. Thanks to Porsche, this GT3 is the first mass-produced car in the world to get, a carbon fiber plastic reinforced bonnet.

Talking of the chassis upgrades, the car actually sits low to the ground by 20 millimeters compared to a normal Carrera 2s. The spring rates are twice as stiff as on the normal 911. Additionally, to ensure that it's not completely awful to drive on the road you do get special adaptive dampers designed specifically for this car. The most interesting thing about the suspension though you see this car actually shares its front suspension setup with the RSR race car. This car has double wishbones on the front rather than muck first and struts. Thus, to make sure that the GT3 new front end suspension system doesn't completely run away from the rear end, they have had to tweak the rear suspension as well. All around the car is fitted with racing style rose joints to make it more responsive, this gives a better feel.

GT3 also gets rear-wheel steering as standard. The rear tires also assist in turning under high speed. This greatly improves handling and stability of car. GT3 comes with a limited slip differential as standard over the rear axle. That mean that you can send power to the wheel with the most grip to help blast you out of turns. GT3 has some seriously big brakes as standard, you get steel discs.  and at the  front they are 408 millimeters in diameter. These discs are 17% lighter and they are internally ventilated rather than drilled. This car actually has the optional carbon ceramics then you have 410 millimeter disc up front gripped by six piston calipers, at the back 390 millimeter disc grip by four piston calipers.

Engine, Power, Transmission and Mechanics

This Porsche is a racing car, a complete motorsport car thus has a sports derived engine.  The engine is a hefty 4.0 liter naturally aspirated flat six, 510 horsepower, 470 newton meters of torque and a redline at  9000 rpm. This makes it lovely to rev it up, the roar of the engine is amazing.

GT3 comes with a 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission, with the other option being a standard 6-speed manual transmission. The transmission works very well together with this powerful engine. In addition to this, the strong front and rear sports suspensions, rear wheel steering system all assist in rapid and fast cornering, together with added stability under high speed. This does makes the newest 2022 Porsche 911 GT3 stand as an extraordinary car in sports category.

The engine for this new Porsche is a DOHC 32 VALVE FLAT-6 engine with Aluminum Block and a direct fuel injection system. The vehicle is Rear engine vehicle type. The piston displacement offered in the engine is a total of 244 cubic inch.

Interior Design

On the inside, the GT3 gets a few upgrades over the normal 911. As a standard you get this special form of leather that is alcantara on the steering wheel and, also some alcantara here on the door inlays, and on the glove box, and here on the gear gator.

PORSCHE 911 GT3

PORSCHE 911 STANDARD

Compared to the standard 911, you get old-school lever gear in this GT3 than a standard little selector you get in simple 911. GT3 also gets carbon fiber seat buckets as an extra add-on feature. But GT3 does gets sports seats as standard and they are normally four-way electrically adjustable. This car also has the option on the blue stitching, and you can have lots of different colors, if you want to to brighten things up a bit. In addition to this, Porsche also gives roll cage as a part of club sport pack. Yes, that means it will be an extra on budget. You do not get roll cage as in standard version. But getting the roll cage, you also get some racing harnesses, and a fire extinguisher. All GT3s do have the rear seat delete, but it is not a good idea to take passengers in this car, they probably wouldn't enjoy it anyway they'd be frightened.

You get all the traction control, stability control switches at central console below the screen. Although the rest of interior is somewhat same as of standard 911 version. GT3 gauge cluster  displays an analogue tachometer. The infotainment system found on GT3 is exactly same as of standard 911 version. That is a 10.9-inch touchscreen, making its way up the central console system. This system also has special features like apple car-play and wifi-hotpsot.

Boot space and Practicality

This GT3 is branded as a racing motorsport. Obviously GT3 is not as practical as normal, but it does have it up to some degree. It has front boot known as frunk, the front boot has some space to keep small bag during your usual tour.

Final Verdict

Well for the final verdict for this car. I would say if you are a real car enthusiast and you have this real love and craze for super cars, then this car is definitely for you. As a sports and racing vehicle, this has a lot more to offer. The specially designed aerodynamics, together with the strong mechanical systems of suspension, rear axle, differential, rear steering and upgraded brakes all add on to racing and launching capability of this car. However, if you are a normal car user and would look into practical features of a car then this  car is no go for you. Whatsoever, Porsche has done a great job for this category.
